THE IMPERIAL CITY OF CUSCO

Cusco is a región that has some of the worlds most beautiful views; it’s the cradle of the Imperial Inka Empire and is actually the best touristic destination in Perú (located at an altitude of 3,400 meters above sea level). Machupicchu is incomparable in its privileged beauty and spiritual strength; the city is hidden within tropics and was constructed with a privileged geographic localization that is combined sacred mountains, running water, a celestial alignment that is almost perfect, an excellent stone mastery, and a number of terraces for agricultural work – it’s impressive.

OLLANTAYTAMBO: THE LIVING INKA CITY (RECOMMENDED TO STAY)

This enigmatic and historical village which has been classified as a living city – where time took a rest – has buildings that are still utilized by direct descendants of the Imperial Inka Empire; visitors can walk through its little streets, and antique plazas which are still preserved – and, one can feel a magical sensation of returning to the past. We recommend that you stay overnight in the Inka city of Ollantaytambo

THE SACRED LAKE OF TITICACA

Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world at an altitude of 3,856 meters above sea level; its shores and small islands – like the islands of Amantani and Taquile – are home to the Aymaras and Quechuas who come from ancestral cultures that have been inhabiting the zone for much more time than the Inkas. Here visitors can explore traditional villages where the Spanish language is considered second-to-native and in which antique myths and beliefs are still passed on to this day.
