Port Maldonado, the capital of the department of Mother of God is located to 193 m .a.s.l. In the Eastern South zone of the country. By the north it limits with Ucayali, by the south and the west with Puno and the east with Brazil and Bolivia. Its territory includes zones of forest high and forest, with a tropical climate, warm and humid with rains of November to April. Its temperature average is of 25°C .
