Saturday - main Day of the Carnival.
It is the main day of the carnival of Oruro, in which we will be able to appreciate of the wonderful and colorful festivity to the virgin of the "Tunnel" and to be part of itself, enjoying each moment to the music's of different dances of remote origins compass like the Diablada, the Morenada, the Tobas, the Llamerada, the Phujllay, among other, they are revived by 30.000 dancers that participate of the party, with suits specially designed by expert Bolivian embroiderers, with diversity of colors and unique shades of each region. This ancestral folklore, in its true essence, is born in the myth, in those beliefs that are transmitted by generations accentuating an ingrained blended faith between paganism and Catholic religion.

The biggest representation in that folklore is the Diablada that is a dance representing the fight among the good and the bad. The devil is the born myth of the "Uncle" of the miners, it is the one that brings good or bad luck. In opposition it meets the Catholic religion with the Candlemas's Virgin that appeared in the tunnels of Oruro, good known today as the "Virgin of the Tunnel". in spite of the fact that the carnival lasts several days, the most interesting part resides in the splendid one "Entrance" in honor to the Virgin

TOUR TO THE CARNIVAL OF ORURO

This tour begins with the picking up of the tourists from the hotels at 03:30 a.m. to go through a highway asphalted to the city of Oruro, located to 230 Km. of the city of the La Paz, in the itinerary we will have the breakfast, arrival to Oruro and accommodation in the boxes of the Avenue of the folklore and to appreciate of the wonderful and colorful festivity, to half-day we have the lunch and in the afternoon we will continue enjoying each moment to the music's compass and of the different typical dances.
At 18:00. Return Oruro - La Paz.
22:00 Arrival to La Paz (Sagarnaga Street)
