RURRENABAQUE PAMPAS & JUNGLE

Program: 5 Days/4Nights or 7 days/6 Nights

The Madidi Nacional Park is one of the richest places in biodiversity of flora and fauna. In Pampas and jungle you will be able to see animals like alligators, anacondas, pink dolphins and other ones. You can learn about the medicinal plants, about how to survive and take part in activities like trekking, fishing and swimming.
RURRENABAQUE. “A small Town in a big jungle”
The town of Rurrenabaque belong to department of Beni, This is a beautiful region on the tropical flats It is characterized for having a tropical humid climate and it is considered as one of the zones of the most richness in terms of bio - diversity. Rurrenabaque is an access point to the “Parque Nacional Madidi” It’s a protected area with a wide range of ecological floors. Also it’s the star poing for tours to “Pampas” and Jungle.

Day 01: Flight from La Paz – Rurrenabaque.
AM. Transfer hotel in la Paz to airport and flight La Paz – Rurrenabaque.
Arrive in Rurrenabaque and transfer to the hotel.
Free in the afternoon. It’s on your own to explore this colorful town.
Included: Transfers, flight ticket La Paz – Rurrenabaque and hotel.

Day 02. After breakfast we departure from Rurrenabaque by 4x4 vehicle at 09:00 AM. We drive approximately 3.5 hours to the Santa Rosa - Yacuma river. Lunch, and in the afternoon we will board dugout canoes on the Yacuma river and travel up the river looking for pink dolphins, monkeys, capybaras, turtles and a great variety of birdlife from hawks, ibises, screamers, herons, toucans, parrots and macaws and overnight in the lodge.

Day 03. After breakfast we will get into our dugout canoe again and travel on Yacuma river to find a place to start walking into the savannahs to look for the world's largest snake: the anaconda. If you are lucky, you will find one to observe it closely, in our return to the lodge for lunch, you will have a chance to observe more pink dolphins, turtles, and capybaras. After lunch there will be a short walk to see rheas, anteaters and monkeys. It is optional to take a night boat ride to observe caimans and other nocturnal life.

Day 04. Pampas - Rurrenabaque
Breakfast, our last day you will see even more wildlife and landscapes before your return to Rurrenabaque. Arrival in Rurrenabaque at 16:00 Hrs

Day 05. Rurrenabaque – Selva “Jungle”
After breakfast we travel by boat on the Beni river, the trip last four hours approximately until our lodge, here we rest and have lunch. After that, we start the trekking inside of the jungle where you will have the opportunity to know medicinal and toxic plants, ancient and huge trees, , trees worms, big ants, a wide diversity of birds, etc

Day 06. Selva “Jungle” – Rurrenabaque.
After breakfast we continue walking through the jungle appreciating aromatic plants, giant trees, medicinal plants, and wild animals. After lunch we return to Rurrenabaque.
Arrive and accommodation in the hotel.

Day 07. Flight Rurrenabaque – La Paz.
After breakfast transfer hotel – airport and fly Rurrenabaque - La Paz
Included: Breakast, transfer out and fly ticket Rurrenabaque – La Paz.
