Tour La Paz + Valley of the Moon
 
La Paz was founded on October 20, 1548, by the Spaniard
Alonso de Mendoza, who had been sent by the Viceroy Pedro
de la Gasca. With the name Our Lady of Peace (Nuestra Señora
de la Paz), the City of La Paz is located in the north-west
of Bolivia, with an area of 133,985 square kilometers. It
is the seat of government and the capital of the department
of the same name. It lies 3640 meters above sea level and
has a population of 793, 293. (Census 2001 INE)

On our tour you will be able to appreciate the cultural,
historical, architectural and natural richness of the city.
We visit Plaza Murillo, the Cathedral, the Palace of Government,
the Church of San Francisco, the vantage point of Quilli
Quilli, the Museum of Gold or of Customs, the Witches’
Market and the Valley of the Moon.
Included: Bilingual guide, private transportation,
entry to the museum and to the Valley of the Moon.

visit the Church of San Francisco, the Witches’ Market,
the vantage point of Quilli Quilli, Plaza Murillo and afterwards
a dinner show with folkloric music. (Show is 2 hours.)
